Trucks!

October 10th, 2010, 7:19 PM

I’ve been dipping my toes in the SEO Pool. One day I’ll get South Texas Outfitters on the first page of the Google search “san antonio truck accessories.” In the meantime, I’m really learning a lot.

Word…

Being unemployed is boring. If you need someone to do freelance web-related work in Houston or to bake you cupcakes, I’m available. Seriously, I’m totally available.

New location? New work!

January 15th, 2010, 2:49 PM

Friends, since I’ll be landing back in the Lonestar State in the next upcoming months, I’ll be looking for new work opportunities. I’m available for web design and programming, cupcake baking lessons, cupcake catering, pet-sitting services, bad karaoke, babysitting, and general office slave work.

Let’s talk.

Texas on my mind

January 5th, 2010, 9:07 PM

I woke up this morning
Texas on my mind
Thinking about my friends there
And a girl I’d left behind
The way she held me when we kissed
The loving that we’d done
And how I left her waving goodbye standing in the Texas sun.

While I might not have a girl behind in Houston waiting to kiss me, I do have friends and miss the Texas sun. With that being said, brace yourselves cause I’m coming back! Expect my Chevy and newly developed Southern California attitude to arrive mid-April.

I’ve got a half a mind to call her
Half a mind to go
Jump a big jet liner
And wing it on my way back home.

Something pretty

Darius’s website now has a pretty splash page. I love blue and pretty pictures, don’t you?

Grow, my little babies

I made an herb garden! Fresh mint and soon-to-be sprouted oregano and basil. Herbs help me with web design. It’s so very true.

New project

I’m working with Darius Aubrey of Pacific Services on making him a kick-ass website. Let’s see what the wheels in my head can turn out.

A moment of silence

October 13th, 2009, 9:03 PM

Friends,

My lovely kitty companion of 14 years, Lilly, passed away yesterday morning. She died of old age and left the world in a peaceful state at the vet’s office. I don’t care if this makes me sound like a crazy cat lady, but I’ll miss her terribly. Having been a constant fixture for over half my life, it’s strange now not having a pet to look over and nurture.

But this doesn’t mean I want people leaving me stray kittens at my door. The thought of a new pet is unbearable.

That is all,

Christine

There is truth in advertising!

October 2nd, 2009, 8:42 PM

Most people who know me are aware I have a fondess for all things Luke Perry and Beverly Hills, 90210-esque. Check out this old 90210 perfume ad courtsey of Fashionista’s Sassy magazine post. It even features the fictitious autographs of the characters. I want this framed on my wall, even though I always was a Dylan/Kelly supporter.

Too bad this perfume is no longer in production. I’ve always wanted my body odor to whisper in a man’s ear.

And the design of the ad awesome too!
